Grand Canyon
The Grand Canyon is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, and for good reason. The canyon is absolutely massive, stretching for over 200 river miles. Hiking through the canyon is a popular activity, as is watching the sunset or sunrise from one of the many lookout points. Wildlife is
also abundant in the area, making it a great place to spot some rare animals. Tourists are allowed on certain hiking trails, but must sign up for a tour first. The average tourist can only hike around two miles before stopping at one of the many overlooks (which are all breathtaking). I was lucky enough to hike about 11 miles in total. There were times when I had no cell service, which added an element of serenity that's hard to find anywhere else. My favorite part about visiting the canyon was seeing how much wildlife there was, including deer and coyotes roaming free alongside tourists. Sunrise at the top of Deer Creek Vista was particularly spectacular; with the sun just peeking over the horizon, red rock, and plenty of wildlife surrounding me. Sunrise and sunset are spectacular from any vantage point, but nothing beats experiencing them firsthand.

The local cuisine varies depending on what part of Thailand you're from: northern Thai dishes are spicy while southern ones are sweeter. If you want something more familiar than pad thai or tom yum Goong (spicy coconut soup), try khao soi gai Krob (stir-fried rice noodles with egg).

Krakow is a city in southern Poland, the capital of Lesser Poland Voivodeship, and the largest city of the historical province of Lesser Poland. It is located on the Vistula River, roughly equidistant from Warsaw to the east and Prague to the west. It has been dubbed "The Jerusalem of Poland", because it was once home to hundreds of churches and monasteries. The Old Town Hall Square features many monuments including Wawel Castle which served as a residence for kings since 1288 until 1596 when it burned down during an attack by Swedish troops led by Gustav II Adolf; its remains were destroyed several times during wars but rebuilt each time until 1846 when they finally collapsed under their own weight due to neglect caused by World War I (1914-1918).
